Amanda Bevens, entering her first year with Beach and Bay, was born in Los Angeles but raised in Eugene, Oregon. At Sheldon High School in Eugene, Amanda was a First-Team All-State and All-League selection in Volleyball, along with being her team MVP her senior year. She also lettered in tennis in high school and competed the state tournament as a junior and senior. She continued her volleyball career in Pocatello, Idaho for Division I school, Idaho State University. After two productive seasons, Amanda chose to transfer to beautiful Point Loma Nazarene University. At PLNU, she continued to excel in the classroom and on the court where she was a setter for the Sea Lions during her junior and senior seasons. Amanda graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Food & Nutrition in 2009. Currently, Amanda is an assistant coach at Francis Parker High School in San Diego and is
obtaining her Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from PLNU.
Amanda also enjoys beach volleyball for fun, exercise, and competition.

of our 14’s local teams this season.
